Grid standardization
The core activity of the unit is:
- Creation of “Principles” for the planning, construction and reconstruction of HV and LV distribution grids;
- Standardization of materials and performances, i.e. definition of the parameters for materials, performances and principles of their use in the distribution grid of VSD, a.s.;
- Unification of materials, i.e. optimization of the range of materials used in distribution grids of VSD, a.s.;
- Technical prequalification of the suppliers.

Summary of technical and legislative requirements, tests and standards to be met by the materials used in distribution grids of VSD, a.s. Materials that meet the technical standards are published in the Catalogue of permissible materials.
Catalog of Permissible Materials
Catalog of permissible materials informs about the basic parameters of specific materials, components and equipment that can be used in distribution grids of VSD, a.s.
